NUTR 4310 Human Nutrition and Disease

This course offers an in-depth exploration into the complex interactions between dugs and nutrients, alongside the biochemical and physiological alterations associated with absorption abnormalities across various conditions.  Students will utilize the nutrition care process to design and modify clinical diets effectively.  The course integrates theoretical knowledge with practical simulation exercises, providing a comprehensive understanding of principles of medical nutrition therapy.  students will engage with virtual scenarios that mimic real-life challenges, enhancing their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in diagnosing and treating conditions that require specialized dietary interventions.
