BIOL 1316 Biology for Majors II

This course introduces organismal classification, biodiversity, plants, and animals. Students will study: (1) the concepts of evolution, natural selection, and speciation; (2) the evolutionary history and relationships among various groups of organisms; (3) animal structure and function; and (4) an introduction to animal body systems, including comparisons across major groups of organisms.
