MATH 2315 General Statistics
This course introduces students to both descriptive and inferential statistics. Emphasis is placed on applications of making decisions in the presence of uncertainty. This course requires critical thinking and interpretation while introducing standard topics such as organization of data, measures of central tendency and variability, probability, probability distribution for discrete and continuous random values and normal distribution.
