BIOL 1310 Introduction to Biology

This course provides non-science majors with an introduction to biological principles, emphasizing the structure and function of living systems, as well as genetics, evolution, and ecology. Special attention is given to how scientific understanding complements broader questions of meaning, ethics, and the human experience.
