Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is a member of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and is exempt from registration and licensure by the Louisiana Board of Regents as established by the Louisiana State Legislature in RS.17:1808 and is recognized as an "eligible institution" under the provisions of RS.17:2053(D).
