IPGC 6330 Essentials of Evidence-Informed Practice in Healthcare

This course reviews the process of scientific inquiry and critical appraisal to guide evidence-informed practice for advanced clinical practice and healthcare. It examines basic principles and applications for various research designs in the health sciences. The course includes an overview of frequently used descriptive and inferential biostatistical methods, emphasizing interpretation and appraisal of statistical outcomes in answering clinical questions. Emphasis is placed on supporting data-based and evidence-informed healthcare decisions.
